Dave's second album of guitar instrumentals describes his journey to the West Coast and back to his home town of Montreal as well as his close encounter with cancer. The title of the 12-song album refers to the healing garden that took shape beneath the window of his room over the course of his one-month stay at a cancer institute in Edmonton. All but one of the tracks are original Dave Clarke compositions, inspired by what he was feeling in that tumultuous time. The only exception is the final song, Across the Universe, which is, of course, by John Lennon. It's a song he played over and over at the darkest times in the Cross Cancer Institute and later, when he returned home, during his slow and difficult recovery.
